Tryouts for the Langhorne Neshaminy United Soccer Club Travel Program are listed in the table at the bottom of this page. The tryouts typically take place on two Saturdays during the month of April (one for girl teams and the other for boy teams) where each age group (U9 through U19) and players go through a series of soccer related exercises/games and get evaluated by the Travel Program coaches and Professional Trainers of LNUSC for possible selection.

A player may tryout in an age group higher than the player’s real age, but cannot tryout in an age group lower than their real age. Please notate on the tryout registration form if the player is ’trying up’ and notify the registration official when you check-in.

Each session is 1.25 hours in length. A player must attend the tryout sessions (for each age group they are trying out) in order to be considered for a LNUSC travel team. Some coaches may request additional tryout sessions with their respective teams. If a player is injured and cannot participate in the tryout exercises, they must check-in with a member of the LNUSC Board of Directors for options and procedures that they must follow in order to be eligible.

Pre-Registration:

The pre-registration will be available ONLINE on March 10^th and up until the day prior to the first tryout for the respective age group for administrative processing purposes;
 

• for Girl Players, pre-registration will close on Fri, 4/12, 6:00 am
• for Boy Players, pre-registration will close on Fri, 4/19, 6:00 am.

You can still register at the tryout venue in the event you don’t pre-register. The cost for tryouts is $10 per player and is applied towards the player’s registration fee of $110 when accepted to a team at Langhorne Neshaminy United Soccer Club.

Player Requirements

• Wear a white shirt, soccer shoes, and shin guards
• Bring an appropriate size ball (U9-U12 = Size 4, U13-U19 = Size 5) clearly marked with players name
• Bring enough water for a 1.5 hour session
• Wear weather appropriate attire as we will hold tryouts rain or shine (unless extreme or dangerous weather conditions)
