Fall Season Newsletter - August 2013

The Fall Soccer Season is fast approaching and the Langhorne United Soccer Club continues to grow every season in both intramural and travel divisions. This growth would not happen without the commitment to the volunteer coaches, volunteer parents, and LNUSC board members who step up each and every year to make a difference for the children of Langhorne Neshaminy United Soccer Club.

The LNUSC Board of Directors is excited for this Fall Season and we wish each family and their children a great season. With that said here are key details for the upcoming season:

Regular Season Games will be played each Saturday beginning September 7th thru the month of October. Some of the older teams will play Fridays and Sundays. For example, if games are cancelled on September 14th the games will be rescheduled for Sunday, September 22nd.

Game Times by Division:

Games will be played at Middletown Community Park (Maple Point Middle School when field conditions dictate MCP is unplayable). Each division will have a set time for games each week to assist in consistency in scheduling and field usage. With that said game schedules will be loaded onto the website by August 30th for all to view.

Teams & Coaches:

The key to a successful program are it the volunteers who are willing to give a little time to make a difference. The Club has several dedicated and committed coaches but as the program growth continues, so does the need for parent volunteers. The Club has filled the majority of the coaching needs for fall but there is a need for a few additional coaches. With that said, we have a coach’s clinic on August 25th and September 8th at Community Park field 1 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for anyone who wished to participate and learn the basics for teaching/coaching soccer.
